Notices for pilots

The field is shared by several groups. Please make appropriate radio calls on 123.0 MHz to coordinate on arrival and departure.

Air Cadet gliding

Gliding operations (one tow plane and two gliders) run weekends 8am–4pm, early April to mid-June and late August to early November. Pilots are welcome during this time — coordinate on the CTAF.

Wingham Jet Club

Remote-control jets operate at the field occasionally. Call on the CTAF five miles out and again crossing the field or entering downwind; they will respond and clear the runway.

On the ground

Self-serve 100LL and Mogas are available at the pump. Courtesy bicycles are kept in the terminal building for visiting pilots to use around town.
